In the past there have been significant changes to local club information, such as change in starting time, adding new games, changes in ownership, etc. Many times these changes never made it to the website for lots of reasons. Our goal is always to maintain accurate information on the website, and to avoid redundant information where it isn't necessary. Since all clubs are required to renew their ACBL sanctions annually, it stands to reason that the ACBL website would have more up-to-date information when it comes to local club information. Therefore, we have created links from the District 12 website for each of the local clubs and have deleted all of the local club information on the District website.
If you want to find information about your local club, click on the Local Club Games link for your unit. The link is displayed on the right side of your monitor. This will take you to the list of clubs within your unit, then click on the name of the city for your club and you will be redirected to the ACBL local clubs information page for the city you requested.
However, ACLB does not include certain types of information, such as special announcements. We have made arrangements to display this information on the District website. Follow the local club game links for your respective unit. Then follow the link for your respective club. For example; The Bridge Connection in Southfield routinely has special announcements. To view these announcements, follow this link. click on the Unit 137/203 local club games link. Then on the list of club games, click on the link in the announcement column for Southfield. If n/a is displayed, there are no special annoucenments, however, if a date is displayed that is the date the most recent announcement was added to the website..
There is also a 3rd column which will be a ink to the local clubs website. If the link is missing it should be available in the next few days.
