District 12 encompasses the lower peninsula in Michigan and parts of Northwest Ohio and is comprised of 5 Units.
We run 26 Sectional and 4 Regional Tournaments Annually.

At the upcoming District 12 election in Toledo, on June 11, 2016, the District Board will be electing President, Vice-President and Sec/Treasurer.
The President runs the District's twice a year meetings and represents the District with the ACBL.
The Vice-President serves in the absence of the President.
All District members in good standing, including past and present officers are eligible to run for these positions.
Candidates should inform Dennis Carman of their willingness to serve in one of these positions.
There is no compensation for President or Vice-President. However, members of the District 12 Board, including officers, receive a free dinner provided at both of the yearly meetings.
The Secretary/Treasurer acts as business manager for the district. Duties include: maintaining permanent records of District 12, including recording minutes at Board meetings; maintaining a record of all Unit, District and National Board members; and preparing and distributing a listing of Sectional, Regional and District games in District 12 to member units. The Secretary-Treasurer also receives, disburses, and accounts for all funds of the district. Sectional and Regional applications are sent to the Secretary for approval before being sent on to the ACBL. Compensation includes $200 per month plus free plays in all District sanctioned events.
