Do you move to a warmer climate in the winter months?
Did you know that ACBL remits a portion of your annual ACBL Dues to your Unit of record?
You can help your Michigan Unit financially by requesting that ACBL permanently assign you to your respective District 12 Unit. This will ensure that the ACBL remittance will continue to go to your respective unit. To do this all you need to do is contact Club and Member Services at ACBL 662-253-3127 and ask them to permanently assign you to your respective Unit. For example, if you live in Kalamazoo, contact ACBL Club and Member Services and ask them to permanently assign you to the Western Michigan Bridge Association, Unit 195.
You will still need to submit a change of address to continue receiving your monthly ACBL Bridge Bulletin at your new address, but a portion of your annual dues will continue to go your permanent affiliated Unit.
It would be helpful if all club managers and directors would also pass this information along to players at your clubs.
For your information all District 12 Units are displayed below:
|Unit Name||Abbreviation||Unit #|
|Northwest Ohio Bridge Association||NOBA||105|
|Michigan Bridge Association||MBA||137|
|Western Michigan Bridge Association||WMBA||195|
